Over 50 people gathered on March 26th in the Bronx as part of the People’s Bailout, a community effort to institute a moratorium on foreclosures and evictions. Homeowners, tenants, residents of public housing, and other community members came to sing down the auction with love and song. 24 people were arrested in today’s successful action.
