A reminder that our next O4O General Meeting will take place on Monday, September 19th at 7 PM at the Catholic Worker, 55 East Third Street (off second Avenue).
Celebratory in mood, we are asking folks to bring along something to share in the way of fruit, bread, salad, sweets, juice / water, a pasta, veggie or rice dish …. whatever, so we might share a meal together.
What are we celebrating? The fact that our O4O movement is alive and well, having succeeded in preventing Ms. Mary Lee Ward from being evicted from her home, and that we are well on our way to manifesting a real positive change in the lives of our neighbors, and building community among one another.
You should all be proud of yourselves.
Aside from “breaking bread together,” our agenda is to review the status of Ms. Mary’s case, have a report from the various O4O teams and facilitate a discussion on strategies for the coming days and months. Also, we will view some great video footage of our most recent march!
Be well and hope to see you there.
