Brooklyn, NY– Ms. Mary Lee Ward &Organizing for Occupation (O4O) will gather on:
Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at noon at
NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office
55 Hanson Place in Brooklyn.
Ms. Ward will address the crowd and send the Attorney General a special message of support. She will then deliver a sign of her gratitude and encouragement to the Attorney General directly.
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has declared his office’s commitment to pursuing justice in a letter to his campaign email list: “Let me tell you directly: I am deeply committed to pursuing a full investigation into the misconduct that led to the collapse of America’s housing market, and to seeking a resolution that gives homeowners meaningful relief…”
Ward herself was a victim of predatory lenders and watched her home sold at a foreclosure auction. But she refuses to leave her home. And hundreds have supported her decision to stay.
O4O calls on Eric Schneiderman to:
- Stand with Ms. Ward and the community!!
- Investigate predatory lenders!!
- Do not give banks immunity!!
